We’re catching our breath after the opening weekend of the 9th Photomonth in Krakow Festival. Although nearly all the exhibitions are now open, we’re not slowing down! On Thursday, you can come to the opening of the last Alias: Madeleine Sante, which is at Krakow’s newest exhibition space: MOCAK. The grand inauguration of the new museum is scheduled for Thursday, and we’re thrilled to be part of the great event!

After an early start to the weekend, on Friday and Saturday we’ll be having fun during Klub Fabryka’s first birthday events! Don’t forget the mind-expanding meetings with Saul Robbins, who will talk about strategies for survival on the photography market. The Collecting Block will provide further meetings, with Charlotte Cotton and Karolina Lewandowska. Those who managed to register in time will present their work to artists and curators during the Sixth Portfolio Review. Together with the newly opened MOCAK, we’d also like you to turn up for Sunday’s meeting: a panel discussion on collecting photographs and a presentation of the latest Sputnik project. Łukasz Gazur is presenting the photobooks we’ve published of the ShowOFF Section. The more industrious Photomonth fans will be taking part in workshops organised by the Academy of Photography. And in the meantime, come and view our exhibitions from the ShowOFF Section and the incredibly rich Main Programme! Plan a time right now, because the weekend may be too short to view everything we have in the programme!
