This year’s Photomonth will be star-studded!

The May festival, whose 8th edition is devoted to British photography, will be drawing above all British artists of undeniable international repute. Among them will be Martin Parr, Mark Power, Anna Fox, Jason Evans, Jem Southam, John Davies, Tom Wood, Tom Hunter, Richard Billingham, Greg Hobson, Aaron Schuman and many others.

Our invitation has been accepted by Martin Parr, the most famous British photographer at present, and a controversial member of the legendary Magnum Photos agency; creator of advertising campaigns for Paul Smith and Louis Vuitton. Magnum will also be represented by Mark Power, an artist who has spent 5 years travelling about Poland with his camera in hand. Deutsche Börse Photography Prize nominee Anna Fox, who has collaborated with Alison Goldfrapp, will herself conduct you around the exhibition of her work. Jason Evans will be speaking of the connections between photography and music. He is an artist who has received equal success in fashion photography and in winning over British audiences at the Tate.

Photomonth in Krakow also remains a place for the stars of Polish photography to meet. Krakow will be visited by the curators of the ShowOFF festival: Kuba Dąbrowski, Mikołaj Komar, Jacek Poremba, Karol Radziszewski and Tomek Sikora.
Krakow will also be the scene for many other meetings between artists, curators and journalists affiliated with photography and art around the world.
