So yes, we took a joint photo of ourselves! On the occasion of its 10th Birthday, the Krakow Photomonth Festival staged a photo studio in Plac Szczepanski as a gift for all lovers of photography, Cracovians, and guests of the Festival. We met, and we were together – exactly as we dreamed it.

Joanna Rajkowska, the creator of Palma, one of the symbols of Warsaw today, is fighting for the health of her little girl, RóĹźa, who has cancer of the eye. The Dogs of Üsküdar, Rajkowska’s book, is available in the Krakow Photomonth Festival Bureau. All proceeds from the sale will be donated to RóĹźa’s treatment – JOIN US!

Moments beforethe start, all the artists, curators and coordinators involved in the implementation of this project met at a joint breakfast. Gathering strength before a busy day full of hard work, sharing observations and experiences, everyone welcomed the opinion of the initiator of the exhibition, Charlotte Cotton: This is the most exciting project I’ve participated in for years!

This practical fact became the starting point for Ola Walków and Kasia Wieczorek’s project, which premiered on May 19th in Klub Pauza. Under the codename Fingers Project, a concept is hidden in which – in the 10th anniversary Festival – those who have been actively involved in it over the years meet up again. Those in the frame show on their fingers how many times they’ve actively participated in the Krakow Photomonth Festival.
