As part of Photomonth in Krakow, ArtBazaar welcomes you to the premiere of its new series of publications on contemporary photography. With this project, ArtBaazar wants to convince customers to collect photographs and art books. To show that the collectibles need not be the photograph itself, but can also be a publication such as an album of photographs.  Each of the publications will be devoted to a specific, closed project or theme, and will present both Polish masters of photography and also the youngest generation of artists. 

 

The publications will only be available in limited editions (100-150 pieces), plus 10 collectible copies will include a limited edition picture signed by the artist.

 

The first publication in the series is devoted to Jerzy Lewczyński and his photographs showing the communist period. Lewczyński presents the PRL, focusing especially on the absurd aspects of the bygone eras, which often took on a grotesque and ridiculous light.
