The meeting with Charlotte Cotton will touch on the subjects of the strategy and need for collecting, systematising media, and educational activities in the context of collecting and contemporary museums.

 

 

Charlotte Cotton is the creative director of Media Space, a partnership between the Science Museum and the National Media Museum in the UK, due to be opened in London in 2012. Before that she was the curator of photography at the Victoria and Albert Museum, and director of programming at The Photographers’ Gallery in London. She also led the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s photography department. She is the author of the book The Photograph as Contemporary Art.
