Have you ever wondered, while looking at photos, who their author is? What they look like, what they do every day, what they like to read? Do your photos say anything about you? In a selection of topics, does the way seeing include who you are, what you think, what you wish for and what you’re interested in? Watch out, Photodate will steal your heart!
Throughout the next month, we’ll only be talking about photography, and a date is, after all, primarily conversation. If you fancy a fascinating meeting – let yourself be seduced by photography!
The rules are simple:
send us one photo of your own *. Remember, it MUST NOT reveal your identity, but it should say something about who you are, and it should for various reasons be extremely close to you. Fifty randomly selected photos will hang in the Bunkier Sztuki Contemporary Art Gallery at the Photography in Everyday Life exhibition, and their authors will receive instructions from us and so take further part in the fun.
Don’t delay, join in!
* By submitting photos to the Photodate project, you grant the Foundation for the Visual Arts licence to use the images for the execution of this project, and the Krakow Photomonth Festival 2012, and you represent that you have the consent of the persons shown in the photographs for the dissemination of their image, and in the case of a submission by a third party of legitimate claims related to the licence or the declaration submitted, you agree to satisfy any legal costs, and any costs awarded or agreed by way of settlement of compensation and redress.
