PHOTOMONTH IN KRAKOW — 2010
AGATA KADENACY
Mezzanine floor
Curator: Jacek Poremba

This is a series of photographs with no beginning or end. A mezzanine is a floor located between the ground and first floors; a floor “between”. In photographing her mother, the photographer set off on the trail to discover her own place. The borders between observing herself and her mother turned out to be ever more difficult to capture.
Agata Kadenacy (b. 1985, London)
Studied photography at the National Film School in ĹódĹş and finished her master’s in photography at the London College of Communication. Previously, she had studied sociology in Kraków.
