ADAM MAZUR, AUTHOR OF "THE HISTORIES OF PHOTOGRAPHY IN POLAND 1839Â2009 "
On the book:
The Histories of Photography in Poland 1839–2009 is the first full survey of its kind on the market – 170 years of Polish photography insightfully described by one of the most controversial of researchers. Adam Mazur, primarily known to photography enthusiasts for his critical texts and exhibitions, presents a summary of his conclusions on historical dynamics and the current condition of photography in Poland. An integral part of the book is the illustrative material – close to 500 colour and black-and-white reproductions.
Published in co-operation with the Centre for Contemporart Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw.
