At 16:00 in the Bunkier Sztuki Contemporary Art Gallery, Wojciech Wilczyk will discuss Photography as a critical tool – a look at the contemporary city.

After the lecture, at 17:00 in the Experimental Section, there’s another vernissage from the Family Album project – this time Agnieszka Kokowska (1986) will be presenting her work. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań in photography, television, and film making. She’s a photographer. She also makes time-lapse movies and short films. Since 2010 she has been associated with the Association for Creative Initiatives "ę". She organises cultural activities, and belongs to the Flying Culture Animateurs network.

The next two Family Album vernissages: 05.06, 17:00, Michał Dąbrowski (6.05-10.06) and 12.06, 17:00, Dorota Zyguła-Siemieńska (13.06-17.06)

At 19:00, a Meet the Artist event with georgia Krawiec Placebo Experiences (Strefa A Gallery of Modern Art).

IMPORTANT! Something new in our schedule! We highly recommend: Lorenzo Castore, known to the Krakow Photomonth audience from earlier Festivals (2003, 2007), has come to Krakow this time as a filmmaker. As part of the Krakow Film Festival, he’ll be presenting his documentary No Peace Without War, which began as a photographic project. Highly recommended!

No Peace Without War, film by Lorenzo Castore and Adam Cohen.
The screening is part of the Krakow Film Festival in the Krakow Documentary Premieres cycle.

See you there!
