Behind us are the marathon of receptions and vernissages for the ShowOFF Section. Although those three days were tense, we have no intention of slowing down the pace.

The first Monday in this year's Festival starts with Artur Wabik. All of those encouraged by Bruno Ceschel idea of Self Publish, Be Happy we’d like to welcome to Gallery Camelot at 16:00 for an introductory lecture on self-publishing. This lecture is mandatory not just for those who will be spending the next four days in the DIY Book! workshops, but also for those who wish to prepare their photobook by themselves.

 

At 19:00 we begin screenings of films about photographic celebrities. It’s unmissable for fans of the Tenth Muse! We’re starting with Sylvina Roumette’s film on Lee Miller – Through the mirror. Lee Miller was muse and lover to Man Ray and, finally, an outstanding photographer! An intriguing biography, and her photographs are famous throughout the world. 

The next film is the first in the cycle Three Photographers, about the Queen of the Leica, Ilse Bing, directed by Antonia Lerch.
