Photography in Everyday Life is a project initiated by the well-known British curator Charlotte Cotton taking place as part of the Experimental Section of the Krakow Photomonth Festival 2012. The main idea of the exhibition is to create an open space in which the relations between photography and daily life are presented from various points of view in an interactive manner, while at the same time inviting the public to take an active part in creating and shaping the exhibit. The exhibition consists of almost 20 projects developed by a team of Polish curators, academics, journalists and artists. The main part of this dynamically evolving exhibition is active stalls where work will be going on throughout the Festival. This will be accompanied by an extensive series of lectures and discussions. Don’t worry – although this part of the project is taking place in Polish, the formula of the exhibition will guarantee that people who don’t know the language will find it accessible too.
Come along, have a look, join in, and help to create the exhibition!
